Hi, I’m Onur — a software engineer, currently a Software Engineer II at Seismic. I studied Computer Science at Purdue (with a math minor), and before Seismic I built software at Bastian Solutions and Navient.

This blog is where I write about what I’m building and learning. These days that’s mostly AI engineering — LangChain, LangGraph, and multi-agent architectures where LLMs, tools, and reasoning chains come together to solve real problems. I care less about the hype and more about what you can actually ship.

Outside of that, I work across the stack with React, Next.js, TypeScript, C#/.NET, and SQL.

Away from the keyboard

I’m originally from Istanbul. I’m into kayaking on calm water, 3D printing, photography, and going down rabbit holes in history and philosophy. I tinker with RC cars, laser engravers, and CNC machines, play analog synthesizers and drums, and hang out with my cat, Mercimek.
